Wilco is one of my favorite bands. Not only do they produce some of the grandest tunes in the universe they also produce the great swag. They have the greastest line of posters, shirts, and useless artistic junk I have ever seen from a band. (Check out the concert poster with the Airstream in the desert - can the world be anymore perfect.)

PostSecret: Valentine B-Sides

Months ago, my friend turned me onto this amazing blog. The idea behind it is for completely anonymous people to decorate a postcard and portray a secret that they have never before revealed. I know some of my readers may not appreciate reading some of the entries normally posted, but today's Valentine's theme is excellent and I feel ok about recommending it. After this week, you never know what secrets will be revealed, no angry emails to me.

Snoglobe B-Sides

This is a post from before my blog died and was reborn. My friend Shelece is another "instinctive" one, she sent me this link. She should become a professional cool hunter. These artists use snoglobes as a medium and that seemed seasonal to me. It's a bit morbid according to some emails I previously received..so beware. I think it's brillant.

Video: It's JerryTime

One of the things I love about the internet is the chance to view the creative work of complete strangers. So many people are doing such interesting work in their photography, home movies, animation, podcasts, blogs, etc and many are doing it for its intrinsic value. "It's JerryTime" is a great example. It is a wonderfully creative photography/animation mash up video blog. I found the link to this on Boing Boing and there was a comparison to Harvey Pekar, creator of the indie comic American Splendor (and subject of a great movie of the same title). I would have to agree. Watch it....it's neato!
